Inspired by the blog Humans of New York, students went around school with their iPads asking a variety of questions.

What do you want to be when you grown up?

A teacher- it sounds like fun.

An artist- I love art.

If you had one wish, what would it be?

To get a guitar.

Me: Why would you want a guitar?

Guitar is my favorite and it makes lovely noise.

What is the best thing you ever did?

Going down a water slide at Emmaus Community Park because it was the first time and it was a memorable fun moment.

Where is your favorite place for vacation?

The beach. I like to sit in the sand.

Barnes and Noble Book Fair- November 12th

Mark your calendars!  We will be hosting our annual book fair at Barnes and Noble in Center Valley on November 12th.  We'll have special events scheduled from 5-8 pm, including two author/illustrators- Amy Ignatow (Popularity Papers series) and Brian Biggs (Everything Goes series, Brownie and Pearl books, Roscoe Riley Rules series, Ellray Jakes series).

Wordles

We've been using Wordles (www.wordle.net) to analyze speeches and book reviews.  The first one is from a book review on Maggie Stiefvater's The Dream Thieves, and the second turns Ashton Kutcher's Teen Choice Awards speech into a Wordle.
